Understanding and Supporting Sustainable Human Capacity
Sign Up Now For The Next Workshop

Practical workshops designed to help you move beyond survival mode by understanding the systems, conditions, and regulators that shape human capacity.

Modern life places increasing pressure on humans.

More demands. More information. More responsibility. More complexity.

Many of us spend years believing we simply need to become better at coping.

The Beyond Survival workshops take a different approach.

Rather than focusing on fixing outcomes alone, the workshops explore the conditions, systems, and regulators that shape sustainable human capacity underneath them.

Each session combines:

reflection

practical tools

real-life application

and small supportive actions that can be integrated immediately.

The Beyond Survival Journey

The workshops follow the Beyond Survival 3×3™ framework and form part of the wider Calerae Capacity System.

Together they explore the key areas that shape how humans experience:

pressure

energy

motivation

recovery

relationships

resilience

and sustainable wellbeing.

Workshop 10 – Thrive:  Going Beyond Survival

What Makes These Workshops Different?

These sessions are practical, reflective, and grounded in the realities of modern life — increasing demands, constant information, and limited margin for recovery.

They are not designed to provide temporary motivation or another list of things to do.

Instead, they help you understand the conditions shaping your capacity, recognise what support may genuinely help, and create small sustainable shifts that can be applied in everyday life.

Each workshop introduces practical tools and forms part of a wider journey through the Calerae Capacity System.

You’ll leave with greater understanding, useful tools, and a framework you can return to whenever life feels stretched, pressured, or out of balance.

Ready to Begin?

Whether you attend a single workshop or follow the full Beyond Survival journey, each session is designed to help you better understand and support your capacity in a world that rarely slows down.

How The Workshops Work

Each Beyond Survival workshop follows a simple structure designed to create understanding, practical insight, and sustainable action.

Relief

Understand why modern life often feels harder than it should and recognise that many common struggles are signals, not personal failures.

Clarity

Explore the conditions, regulators, and patterns shaping human capacity beneath the surface.

Stabilisation

Identify practical tools and small supportive shifts that can be applied immediately in everyday life.

Rather than leaving with more information, you’ll leave with greater understanding, practical tools, and a framework you can return to whenever life feels stretched or pressured

Who It’s For

These workshops are designed for people navigating the realities of modern work and life.

You do not need to be experiencing burnout or crisis to benefit.

They are for anyone who wants to better understand what shapes their capacity, recognise pressure earlier, and create more sustainable ways of living and working.

Whether you’re feeling stretched, curious, reflective, or simply looking for a different way of approaching wellbeing, you’re welcome.

Meet Jo

Hi, I’m Jo Davies, founder of Calerae and creator of the Beyond Survival workshops.

After more than 25 years working in demanding corporate environments, I became increasingly curious about a question many people quietly ask themselves:

“Why does life feel so hard when I’m doing all the things I’m supposed to do?”

Like many people, I spent years looking for answers in productivity, organisation, resilience, and wellbeing advice. Some of it helped. Much of it didn’t.

What I eventually realised was that many of the challenges we experience are not personal failures to be fixed. They are often signals that our capacity is under pressure.

That insight became the foundation of Beyond Survival and later the Calerae Capacity System.

Today, my work focuses on helping people understand what shapes capacity, recognise pressure earlier, and create more sustainable ways of living and working.

The Beyond Survival workshops bring together practical tools, real-world experience, and a different perspective on wellbeing—one that focuses less on fixing people and more on understanding the conditions shaping their lives.

I’m delighted you’re here and hope you’ll join us for a workshop soon.

Begin the Journey Beyond Survival

The Beyond Survival workshops are the first step in the Calerae Capacity System.

A practical framework designed to help you understand what shapes capacity, navigate pressure more sustainably, and create supportive conditions for work and life.

You do not need the perfect moment.

You do not need to change everything at once.

You simply need a willingness to begin where you are and take one small supportive step forward.
